Who we are
Renter Security is run by a small editorial team. We are renters ourselves and started the site to collect clear, sourced guidance on home security that works in a rental.
How we choose topics
We cover the questions our readers search for most, starting from search data, and we skip topics we cannot answer usefully.
How our articles are written
Our articles are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools, working from the public sources we link in each article. An editor reviews every article before it is published and checks that specific facts match those sources. We do not invent product tests, statistics or expert quotes.
Sources and fact-checking
Each article links the pages its facts come from. When sources disagree, we say so. If we have not used a product ourselves, the article relies on manufacturer information, published reviews and user reports, and we do not claim otherwise.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, email us at yun@zebrabz.com. We correct errors promptly and update the article date.
